An Even Greener Ambit Engineering
Ambit is committed to being environmentally responsible. Since 2002 we have been focusing on nationwide recycling initiatives and developing green office practices, all contributing to Ambit’s environmental footprint being well below industry averages.
To ensure continuous improvement, we have also partnered with the Carbon Reduction Institute to become a 100% Carbon Neutral Company.
As a 100% Carbon Neutral Company, in 2007/08 Ambit will offset over 600 tonnes of CO2 emissions towards energy efficiency and renewable energy projects, all accredited under the NSW Greenhouse Abatement Scheme or registered under the Federal Government Accredited Greenhouse friendly program.
Offsetting is only one element of our overall approach to being environmentally responsible with a significant part of our environmental program focused on reducing the amount of emissions we produce not only in the office but at home as well.
Each of our state offices across Australia has comprehensive on-going recycling, waste minimisation and education processes and programs.
